Coming Together for the Children

On May 6th, 2025, our community gathered in Mooresville, North Carolina, for a wonderful luncheon hosted by our Communications and Development departments. Our event theme, “Voices of Hope,” was a meaningful recognition of the resilience and strength of the children we serve and the hope we strive to bring them every day.

To bring our theme to life, we introduced the “Voices of Hope Photo Gallery,” an inspiring exhibit that featured real quotes from children in our programs. Guests had the opportunity to read the children’s words and see the incredible impact of our therapists’ work. It was an emotional experience that reminded us all why our mission matters.

A Beautiful Performance

One of the most touching moments of the day came from a performance by a young girl in our Heartstrings program, who, despite being blind, sang with incredible grace and courage, leaving the room in awe. Her journey was also beautifully shared through an inspiring video that reminded us of how impactful our Heartstrings program can be for children who benefit from art and music therapy.

Celebrating Community Support

We were honored to welcome 238 guests to our annual luncheon. Many left with a renewed understanding of our mission, and several chose to support us through generous donations. We are hopeful that their involvement will continue whether through volunteering, becoming loyal donors, or simply sharing our mission with others.
