On a beautiful fall evening at Fainting Goat Spirits in Greensboro, community members, supporters, partners, and friends gathered for a wonderful night of hope and connection at our Age of Hope event.
Presented by Stahr Custom Contracting, our Roaring Twenties-themed fundraiser brought together individuals from across the community to learn more about Children’s Hope Alliance and the life-changing work that we do every day for children, youth, and families across North Carolina.

Sharing the Mission of Hope
One of the most impactful moments of the evening came when our amazing CEO, Celeste Dominguez, shared the history of our organization and highlighted the thousands of lives impacted through CHA’s programs and services each year.
As guests learned more about our mission, they gained a deeper understanding of the challenges facing children and families across North Carolina and the ways hope can be restored through community support.
The evening also featured a moving story from one of CHA’s foster families who shared their firsthand experience navigating the foster care journey. They spoke about the support they received through CHA and offered ways community members can encourage and walk alongside foster families. Their testimony served as a powerful reminder that lasting change happens when people choose to invest in the lives of others.
Building New Connections
Our Age of Hope event was an opportunity to introduce new friends to the CHA family and inspire greater awareness of our mission. For many attendees, this event served as their first introduction to Children’s Hope Alliance.
We welcomed more than 60 new donors, creating new opportunities for partnership and support. Throughout the evening, guests connected with staff members, asked questions about programs, and learned how they can play a role in helping children and families thrive. Guests enjoyed live music from Jim Mayberry, delicious food from Freeman’s Grub & Pub, and sweet treats that made the evening even more memorable.
