This holiday season has been nothing short of amazing! Throughout December, we hosted several Foster Care Christmas parties throughout NC that brought smiles and laughter to so many of our foster families. We had so many fun activities for our families including winter-themed crafts, games, prizes, Santa photos, and yummy food!

We want to extend a special thank you to the Joey Logano Foundation, whose team packed 130 duffel bags filled with incredible gifts for our foster families to distribute at our Christmas parties. These thoughtful surprises brought so much happiness to foster children who deserve to feel special. The foundation’s ongoing support throughout the year, and especially during the holiday season, continues to make an amazing impact on our families. We are also thankful for our other sponsors who helped make these parties possible!

In addition, the generosity shown through our Christmas House and Christmas Angel wish lists was truly overwhelming! Because of these wonderfully donated gifts, the children in all of our programs will be able to enjoy a holiday filled with more joy! Thank you to the Dale Jr. Foundation, St. Mark Catholic Church, Williams Place Gracious Retirement Living, Piedmont HealthCare Mooresville Primary Care, and Brawley Animal Hospital for helping make this season brighter for children and families.

Lastly, our 5th Annual Heartstrings Gift of Giving Event added even more magic to the season! This year, 120 children had the opportunity to shop for gifts for themselves and their loved ones. Every gift was generously donated, and families received a delicious lunch to take home and enjoy! Our amazing volunteers played a vital role by assisting with shopping, organizing tables, bundling meals, and helping families carry gifts and food to their cars.
