Quilt Sunday at Sneed’s Ferry Presbyterian Church

Foster care children receive beautiful gifts

We are so thankful to highlight over 20 years of a very special partnership between an amazing group of woman on the eastern part of our state.

This past weekend was Quilt Sunday at Sneads Ferry Presbyterian Church. Our agency has been receiving these beautiful quilts for 20 years. Andrea Barrett, started the Patchwork Quilters group back in 2003. They have made 2,991 quilts for our children and each one is prayed over to ensure the child will know they are loved.

This week, quilts began being distributed to children in our foster care homes which they will receive as Christmas gifts. In addition, extra quilts are stored in our main building and picked up once a child comes into our care. Partnerships like these bring so much joy to not only the kids in our care, but staff too. Each one is incredibly unique and special.
